Tomorrow: Feasibility Study Committee

On Tuesday the OPCD Lid Feasibility Study Committee meets for the second time. The public is welcome, and comments are taken toward the end of the meeting. We’ll hear an update on the consultant team’s progress and work plan, help establish guiding principles, and discuss assumptions moving forward.

June 15: Freeway Park in Bloom

We’ll be celebrating another spring in Freeway Park this Saturday! Join the community and take in the beautiful sights at the park from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Our team will be at Seneca Plaza to chat and share updates on the feasibility study.

Freeway Park in Bloom will have activities for the whole family:

  • Live music from the Neighborhood Boys
  • Iced herbal teas from Harbor Herbalist
  • Flowers and Botanical Art with Hazel Landscapes
  • Free grillables
  • Raffle! Win tickets to the newly re-opened Town Hall
  • Tree Tour led by the Tree Ambassadors at 1:30pm

July 17: Lid I-5 Community Open House

Join us at our latest Community Open House to hear project updates, meet fellow supporters, and be inspired for the future of Seattle. The event is an open house format – doors open at 5:30 PM and a brief program begins at 6:00. Food and drink will be provided. Further details to be announced.
