About a year ago the Lid I-5 campaign got to work addressing some of Seattle’s biggest challenges. In that time we’ve had great success bringing together community members, spreading our message through the media and local organizations, and making important changes to public policy. We couldn’t be doing this without the help, advice, and donations you generously provide.
Now, your voice is needed more than ever. Our leaders need to know Seattle supports the vision of reconnecting our most vibrant neighborhoods with parks, housing, trails, and other civic amenities over and around the I-5 canyon.
Please join us Wednesday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, at Room 2AB of the Convention Center, 705 Pike Street (Facebook RSVP). We will be showcasing our request for public benefit money to fund a citywide lid feasibility study. Some of our community partners will also be there with great ideas for local street, park, and housing projects. It’s an open house format, so you can stay as long as you like.
